They have 3 adult boys, 1 dog named Tundra, and 2 cats. They found there was a need to provide a relaxed and safe environment where dogs could be dogs - and thus Rover's Resort was born. Joel does most of the hands-on, day to day activities with the dogs and Dori takes care of the book work. She also provides grooming to clients on weekends and holidays. Their goal is to make sure customers feel comfortable and welcome; like family. They strive to provide a fun, laid back atmosphere. Our Staff Vanessa Vanessa Garbisch owns 3 cats and a rescue dog from Thailand, Syrie. She has been working with and training dogs for 15 years. Her passion is to continuously work with dogs and obtain as much information as possible about them. She believes in positive reinforcement for behavioral dog issues as well as good socialization for every dog. She lives in Kaukauna with Brian & their two girls, Keira and Angelea. Lisa Lisa Jacobson is a professional groomer with many years experience and expertise. She loves grooming and works with all breeds of dogs. She attends yearly seminars as well as grooming competitions to stay up to date on trends and techniques. She lives in Menasha with her husband and 4 dogs. Dan Dan has been helping out at Rover's Resort since its establishment. He joined the staff after graduation. He helps with the daily care of the dogs along with property maintenance. He has been a great addition to the team. Paige Paige began working at Rover's November 2011. She completed one year of college and is planning to continue her education in Oregon in the field of horse training. Boomer, her dog, joins her during her days at Rover's. Libby Libby Muhowski is a senior at Kimberly High School. She is involved in band, cross country, track and field, and Key Club. She owns two dogs, Hannah, a Shih Tzu, and Lacy, a Maltese. Libby started working at Rover’s Resort in January, 2010. She works on Thursdays and Sundays, walking with the dogs. She loves being here and has learned proper stick throwing techniques! Camille Camille Hayes is a student at the University of Notre Dame. She is involved in the marching and basketball bands. Camille owns one dog, a golden retriever named Ginny, and three cats. Camille started working at Rover's Resort in August 2007. When she gets a break from school, Camille checks up on the Resort. Camille loves animals and enjoys every minute at Rover's Resort! Tony Tony Pyle is a freshman at UW Madison. Tony has worked at Rover’s Resort since June of 2010 and has two dogs, Baxter and Bella. During the summer, Tony is one of our project technicians.
