Our Owners

Husband and wife team Joel and Dori have lived in the Fox Valley since 1995. They have 3 adult boys. They found there was a need with local dog owners to provide a relaxed and safe environment where dogs could be dogs - and thus was born Rover's Resort.

Joel does most of the hands-on, day to day activities with the dogs and Dori takes care of the book work. She also provides grooming to clients on weekends and holidays. Their goal is to make sure customers feel comfortable here and be welcomed like family. They strive to provide a laid back atmosphere that is fun.

Our Staff

Camille

Camille Hayes is a senior at Kimberly High School. She is involved in the band and Student Council. Camille owns one dog, a golden retriever named Ginny, and three cats. Camille started working at Rover's Resort in August, 2007. During the school year, Camille walks around the yard with the dogs usually on Sunday mornings and during the summer she teaches swim lessons. Camille loves animals and enjoys every minute at Rover's Resort! 

Connie

She started at Rover's in Fall of 2007.  Her interests are dogs, dogs, and more dogs and she loves sports, football, baseball and spoiling Yoda!  She continues to expand her knowledge and expertise through seminars, classes and reading. Connie has a 2006 Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical Institute, Appleton, WI and a 2009 BA degree in Psychology from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, WI.

Libby

Libby Muhowski is a sophomore at Kimberly High School. She is involved in band, cross country, track and field, and Key Club. She owns two dogs, Hannah, a Shih Tzu, and Lacy, a Maltese. Libby started working at Rover’s Resort in January, 2010. She works on Thursdays and Sundays, walking with the dogs. She loves being here and has learned proper stick throwing techniques!

 
Lisa

Lisa Jacobson is a professional groomer with many years experience and expertise. She loves grooming and works with all breeds of dogs. She attends yearly seminars as well as attends grooming competitions to stay up to date on trends and techniques. Lisa has also taken canine first aid classes and she only uses all natural shampoos that help maintain dog's coat and skin. She lives in Menasha with her husband and 4 dogs.
